Week 2

This week on the foundation course I have tried out new techniques and have tried a range of new medias. We started the week making sculptures of words I choose the to create my sculpture using the words home and security.

I decided to make a nest like structure using plastic bags which I ironed which depending on the thickness of the plastic bags, made this really fine net, or stronger lengths. It was quite hard to achieve the curved shape that I wanted but overall I am happy with what I made.
