2nd fine art week
This week has been a carry on week for the "body language" project we started last week.
I started this week by continuing developing this idea of flight paths. To make my project more personal, which I have learnt is a key part of fine art, I choose to look at my own trips I have been on. I created lines on a map with pins and thread which made it a range of lines to develop this I decided to transferred these lines onto a sheet of cardboard without a map behind, by doing this I think my piece has became more interesting and throws up more questions for the viewer like-
Where has the artist been?
Why are the lines of different lengths?
After adding the destinations I have travelled to I added places I could go onto the card, the route I take to get to college, and some train routes onto the card to. By adding some different directional lines in different colours I feel the piece has became a lot more interesting and has created some really interesting shapes.

Also on Wednesday we did a drawing day, were we did some expressive drawing of a skeleton using different ways and techniques to draw. This has taught me to look at negative spaces, how correcting your work is so important, and how to think about how you want to change and develop your work.
So today when I chose to draw my piece I thought about what I wants to change and correct while doing the drawing and consequently I think my piece is sucssessful.
