week 9

This week has been all about the idea generation. After a talk about conceptual art I was inspired to mind map ideas about 'home'.  I want my pieces to be meaningful and portray the message that home in not a place.
The idea of building and shaping our 'home' got me thinking about jigsaw pieces.
I spray panted them so that they become uniform so the idea that they fit together becomes more important than the made up image. Then I started to experiment putting text onto them, carrying on with an idea from last week about using peoples opinions.
I have had ideas about connecting them and hanging the pieces in different places, and have started to experiment this week.

 Next week I have to push these ideas and start making things on a larger scale as we do not have too long left on this project and I have done lots of little test pieces, which is good but now I have to try and collate and resolve them.
